Businesses Aren’t Immune to Texas Fire Damage Claims
Business owners may have spent years coming up with their business plan. They may have spent countless hours developing their company and thousands of dollars in marketing and advertising. But sadly, no business owner or company is immune from threats like fire, theft or other damages.
For instance, a commercial fire in Texas occurred at the end of last month, destroying a business in Channelview, Texas. The fire started around 11 p.m. Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Jackie’s Dog Grooming, located on Sheldon Road near Avenue C.
Channelview firefighters on Engine 32 reported that fire was shooting from the front of the building. They fought the fire with the help of other crews, and were able to put it out. Some crews helped by ventilating the fire, and others aided in putting down the water supply. The firefighters put out the fire by using a fast attack.
Authorities indicated that no people or animals were inside the business at the time of this Texas store fire. However, the business did suffer major fire damage to its structure. Additionally, two other stores located adjacent to this store in the strip mall also suffered smoke and water damage.
